Great Product

This tablet is great. I originally bought it as an e-reader for me and another for my granddaughter to read and also play games. I love everything I can do on it, the screen is very clear. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an e-reader and android at the same time. Great customer service. When I contacted them about an adapter I needed, they replied right away and sent it out. I gave this company 100% rating.

Nice for the Price!

I love this little jewel, BUT Make No Mistake! This is an inexpensive 'NO Support' product. I did a lot of searching on the Internet for upgrade and support information regarding this and several other 'no-name' Chinese tablet clones. If you expect to buy this tablet and keep it updated with the latest version of the Android operatiing system, FORGET IT! On the other hand, if you can live with the OS version it comes with (v4.0), then you'll be just fine.
I found that several of the loaded apps don't work correctly. But there are several 'work-arounds' that will fix that. For instance, the Android store app called GooglePlay would crash when run. However, you just need to browse to the store on the Internet and you have pretty much the same functionality as the loaded app. I put a link to that website on the Main Page of the tablet, so now it kinda seems like an app. Another free app that failed, worked after I deleted it, then went to GooglePlay and found the latest version. Also, I didn't like the built-in WiFi manager, because it wouldn't stay connected very well, so I found a better one (free) at GooglPlay. I haven't tried streaming a movie yet, nor using Skype. I'll test those next.
I saw a review that talked about the battery level dropping quickly to 40%, but taking a long time to go from 40% to drained. I've experienced that too. So while the indicator is not accurate, the battery does actually last a long time. I also read somewhere that you can open up these cheap tablets and make a copy of its internal SD memory card. Appearantly this is where the operating system resides and if something goes wrong in the future, you could transfer your copy to a new SD card to get your tablet working again. Sounds like a good idea, if you're comfortable with a screwdriver and wait for any warranty to expire.
I can highly recommend this tablet to the casual user as long as they don't need to rely on it for very important business. I mean for $80, it's awesome! I just wish it had Bluetooth.

*Buyer Beware* of this company

I ordered this tablet for my 8 yr old son for Christmas. We received it and it worked for one day, and then just quit charging!!! so I returned it. Engine 29 says they did not receive the tablet, but UPS says they did. Engine 29 would not return my $80.00... so I totally lost on this one. I will never buy from this company again. Poor customer service also!
