4Power Cord Problem
By S. Wise
The power cord broke after a short time We were able to get another one.
I would suggest that the tip that goes into the case be beefed up a bit
other than that It works well .....

1Junk
By J2daEWW
The Ematic 9.7 Pro tablet is anything but professional. After 3 days, yes three days, the LCD screen went out. I did research and tried to charge the device over night and still nothing. Then, all of the sudden, the screen flashed on to reveal lines and internal damage to leave the device unusable. I emailed Ematic and they said even though there is no physical damage, which was confirmed with pictures, they will not replace under warranty as they feel it has a cracked screen. They did say that they are willing to repair my unit at a cost of $140 dollars plus shipping.

When unit was working, the device was dreadfully slow with both basic and advanced programs and games. Videos took forever to load and actually become viewable... oh and for those that do not know Ematic does not have an app store so you either have to use Amazon's app store (which has a good selection of apps, but extremely slow on this device) or hack it to run an older Google Play, but again that is super slow also.

Horrible experience with a cheap tablet. Never again.

4Fairly Good Low-end Tablet
By Ian M. Scarlett
The eMatic Pro tab Exp8 is a low-end Tablet when compared to the Galaxy Tab, BB Playbook and Apple's iPad. However for the price (I paid $135 a week before Christmas), it is a pretty useful device. For applications, one may access tens of thousands of applications from the "1Mobile Market" (incl. Google Maps, NetFlix, WhatsApp, Angry Birds Rio, Advanced Task Killer), as the eMatic App Store and Soc.io (referred by eMatic Customer Service) do NOT work. The pre-installed apps work fine, and I've installed more than 100 apps from "1Mobile Market" so far. So my Personal Rating is 4/5, as it came up short with games with Heavy Graphics.
