Pipo M6 after a month

PIPO MAX M6 QUAD CORE Tablet PC 9.7 Inch RETINA DISPLAY 2048 X 1536 Quad Core RK3188 1.6GHz ANDROID 4.2 WiFi HDMI Dual Camera 2GB RAM 16GB
Bought this from another seller a month ago. So far, so good, with one exception. Good is the hardware for the price. Screen is as good as you would expect retina to be, screen is basically responsive, apps come up quickly and all is pretty much ok. Use headphones - speakers really are not loud enough.
OS is Android 4.2.2, not 3.0 as the advert says.
Printed instructions are in Chinese as are some of the installed apps, but, after all, this is made by a Chinese company. I have had an Android phone and tablet before, so language was not an issue.
Here is the negative: it won't run Netflix. Have been in email contact with company people in China and have not had a solution. They suggested updating the rom, but that would make me have to reinstall apps and given my luck I might brick the tablet. So, have decided to wait and hope for Netflix to come out with a new version that works on my machine. BTW: Xfinity, HBO 2 Go and Crackle all work fine.
So, there you go! it's a good machine and I recommend it, even with the Netflix issue.

Good Tablet for the price
By R. GUHA
I bought it from a different seller for lesser price.
Negatives:
1. Camera quality
2. Audio Quality
Positives:
1. Retina Display - awesome
2. Responsiveness - So far so good. It really depends on Android (Jelly Bean) and apps.
3. Games Performance - So far Temple Run is pretty fun to play in this.
4. WIFI - So far so good - didn't have any issue connecting or holding the connection from distance.
Overall I like it - usage will be mostly for 5 years old son, so needed a cheaper one.

Android at the Next Level
By L. Hathorn
The PiPO M6 is the best Android Tablet that I have owned (out of 4). I use it for business and personal time, and find it to be very responsive. It is well-built, reasonably fast, as the Quad Core makes a world of difference. Battery life is above the norm and the retina screen is awesome. Still, there are few Android apps that take advantage of Quad Core, except for the major brands. On two occasions, I have had to reset it as the screen froze. Resetting was simple, however, just stuck a toothpick in the reset hole and brought it back to life, with all apps and data still in tact. Still, very satisfied with the tablet itself.
