Fantastic tablet with a few quirks

I ordered the Elemental 9.7" on a Saturday and received it the following Thursday, from Hong Kong to Wisconsin, so... great start! The tablet is pretty much as described here with a few exceptions. It's not really a silver color, mostly all white and doesn't look as good as the pictures. I think the pictures shown here are probably drawings as they don't even show the camera (upper right front), also the buttons are white, not black as shown. It's not bad looking by any means, silver just would have looked nicer. The black & silver model was sold out.
Specifications for the battery are all over the place, here shown as 5200mah. A reply from TUVVA support said the packaging showed the true capacity, well in the small pamphlet it's listed at 8000mah, the box itself shows 4000mah. There's no way this thing is an 8000, so my belief is the lower value, and 4000mah is way underpowered for a device with this processor and display. I can see I'll need to buy extra wall charger as well as car charger.
The screen is indeed retina quality and gorgeous, the ability to switch down to 1600X1200 is fantastic to improve response and battery life. The touch response is inconsistent, at times it's almost resistive like and takes several presses, sometimes it's too sensitive and you get inadvertant 'clicks', the majority of the time it's perfect. Also I am used to the flawless response of a Kindle Fire HD. I am somewhat stumped by this, and so far I have found no menu option to calibrate.
The OS is Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1, and they do not have any upgrade plans. It's more than adequate however there is at least one feature I wanted in 4.2. Google Play store is indeed installed and so far the TUVVA TRD9701 has been listed as a compatible device for everything I have wanted to download.
Those are the only CONS I've found. The staff at TUVVA have been very helpful with the several questions I have had. I still have second thoughts on whether I should have went with their 10.1" model for a good battery, more RAM and black color, but this is a very, very nice tablet and I like the 4:3 format. I suspect this is an 'introductory' price that will go up. At it's current price I probably would have given it 5 stars but for the battery issue. I may adjust this review up or down with any new experiences with the tablet/company.
Update: Very satisfied overall with this tablet even more so now that I have become familiar with it. The calibration is not really off, after turning on the Android feature of the 'visible dot' I realized that at times the tablet is busy and not responding to touch, and the other issue is that it is so sensitive that it is responding to the very first touch of my finger tip, thus at an angle it seems to be lower and 'early', all I can say is once you see it visually you eventually learn to adapt.
The battery does drain quickly, this remains my one complaint with the device, the screen is fantastic but it needs more power. Possibly I'm not comparing it fairly as I don't have experience with devices quite like this, I do get a full day out of it with typical use, but just. The folks at TUVVA have been very helpful & friendly, huge plus on customer service! Finally, I'll post some links to experiences with accessories;

At the time of this writing the 9.7 is almostly exactly 1/2 the price of EVERY other tablet with similar specs. The battery is underpowered. The company/support is SUPERB. No glitches or problems since I wrote the initial review, in fact now that I think about it, I've never even done a reset. 5 stars, easy.

REAL CUSTOMER REVIEW..BUYER BEWARE

First off I purchased this tablet because of the reviews. For all three of this companies products they all had great reviews so I took a chance. Reading multiple reviews about how fast it shipped from China to the mid states I felt I would see it much quicker since I am on the west coast.....nope it arrived on the very last day of predicted receipt date which was three weeks. The wait had me worried about how genuine the reviews were and after I received and experienced the quality of the product there is no way these previous reviews are legitimate.
I only got about an hour into using the tablet before it shut off with 48% available battery life left.....uh oh. I plugged the tablet in and let it charge for hours until it read charged on the screen 100% so I removed the charger and within a minute it shut off. I once again plugged the charger in and turn the tablet back on and now the battery reads 0% charge. I keep having the same problem over and over so I spoke with my IT guy and he thinks it is a hardware issue in the tablet. I then tried to call customer support on the number provided on the website and what do you know the number is no good!
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND THE COMPANY TUVVA!!! That is unless you want to have a long drawn out unpleasant experience from shipping, disappointment of product, to having to deal with returns and money back.
STAY AWAY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
UPDATE 11/13/13
So after posting above review. I received a second unit from the seller within a day because of a shipping error. Since I had filed a complaint with Amazon about the tablet the seller instructed me to keep both tablets. That would have been acceptable if the second tablet was not having issues as well. The second unit turned on worked until you turn it of into sleep mode (not in use but still powered on) when you try to turn it back on it no longer has any touch screen response, so you now have to restart it by holding down the power button. This has to be done each time the tablet goes into sleep mode. So my experience is 2 bad units. When it comes to electronics 9 times out of 10 it is true, you get what you pay for.
Also the five star rating talking about the essence of China.....really...that is one heck of and honest customer review. People spend the extra 100 and buy a name brand that is tried and true.

Nice product but not new

Bought this as new and it is not. May be refurbished but definitely not new. No warranty info in the box. No way to get a warranty & after waiting over a month to recieve this, was told it was a budget product and no info on how to get a warranty. Very little support from seller and only offered a refund after I have waited for over a month. Product appers to work fine but paid for a NEW one - this is not new. It arrived in an unsealed box & seller stated that it was opened to check the product. Why check it if it is new?
