Very reasonable tablet
By B. Folchi
Pros: Cheap, Upgradeable to Android 4 from vender, Responsive touch screen, reads up to 32GB Micro SD.
Cons: Battery leaves something to be desired. After some modifications to system files it is more reasonable..no problem for me but people should not have to do that.
Other Thoughts: This is a great inexpensive tablet and suites my needs.
It is recommended on many forums not to modify the "phone" .apk files....but I modified the phone and telephony apk files and everything has functioned great. Cell Standby is gone.
If you want to be rid of cell standby there are many instructions out there to do it...if you are uncomfortable messing around with system files then don't. I have read in some places that messing around with some of this stuff will could brick the device.
You'll want superuser app and ES File Explorer (or another viewer) to modify the system files for the battery usage.
I renamed phone.apk and telephony.apk files in /system/app
You will get a Force Close when renaming phone.apk. Shutoff by holding the button and turn it back on.
Modify the build.prop file to include the following as the last line: ro.carrier=wifi-only
Once you do that you will want to charge your tablet all the way to 100%. After that, Cell Standby should go away and stop giving the false readings.
If you are looking for a tablet under $150.00 I recommend this one.

Great tablet for a low price.
By Gonzalo
The Iview 760 TPC is my second tablet and the first one was a disaster.
I got it because I wanted a bigger screen than my WP7 Samsung but more portable than a laptop. Also wanted to try an android device.
I was a little leery because of a few problematic reviews but after getting it I love it.
Screen is better quality than I expected. Despite being lower res than more expensive tablets, it looks crisp and clear. Android 2.3 works great also.I've heard that ICS works better and can be upgraded through the IVIEW website, but If everything I want to work on it works, I may not change it (If it ain't broke...). So far everything does, including Netflix, which I have read to be a problem. I ordered an RJ45 ethernet adapter because I work in locations without wi-fi. The adapter said it was for android tablets with Android 3.2 and up so if it does not work I will upgrade.
I love the OTG usb cable. It easily reads flash drives and peripherals (like mouse, trackball and keyboard).
Battery life is actually pretty good. I have gotten a good five hours as the specs promised. Not being very experiences with tablets this may or may not be great.
It may not be an Ipad (I wouldn't know because I've never had one) but it is a good, comfortable and convenient tablet.
UPDATE: The Ethernet Adapter works just fine with my Iview and its Android 2.3 operating system. But I now have tried a couple of Android 4.0 tablets and saw that ICS does not seem to support ethernet. Also the 760 TCPS are now coming with Android 4.0 so I can't say if it'll work. Still a nice little tablet (I wouldn't pay over $100 for it at this point though).

Had to return it.
By S. L. Weller
Pros: Everything an Android tablet should be, at a bargain price.
Cons: It's heavy at almost 2 pounds. Mine had touchscreen registration problems.
Other thoughts: Better suited for techies and hackers. This tablet (and many others) are virtually all clones of the same Chinese, Inc. tablets. There's an incredible amount of user support on Tablet Republic, and Iview has a responsive US rep. I flashed it from GB to ICS and back several times. (Iview has an ICS update in beta.) A few easy tweaks gives it stellar battery life and makes it very responsive. I was able to get Swype working on it, too. My problem was that the touchscreen would occasionally register on a completely different point than where I touched. Sometimes it would register even when I hadn't touched it. That was the deal-breaker, but it's well worth the price if you get a good one. Just buy it from Amazon so you can easily return if you have to.
