A GREAT DEVICE FOR THE PRICE!

As a professional musician who uses recorded accompaniment playback to play my theremin to, I've been searching far, and wide for "the right" playback device. I've tried PC notebooks, I-pads, Kindle Fires, even a Chromebook, and none of them seem to quite fit the bill. The notebook PCs work fine, but they're big, and bulky, needing a table, or a special stand to use them near my theremin. Also have use screen magnifiers. The Chromebook mouse is too small to see, so I have to go back to PCs, or something else. The media players in the I-pads, and Kindles blindly blunder forth on to the next track without letting me just play one track at a time.
This little device has a media player that actually STOPS at the end of a song, and does not blunder right along to the next track. Well, that is, unless you want it to, and then you just go from accessing the media files in the files manager, to using the actual music player, and then it'll go on to the next track for you if you like that sort of thing, ;)
I like that I could adjust the font size to HUGE. that's huge for us legally blind users, in my book.
All the functionality of the operating system was very easy to navigate. Nothing mysterious or confusing. Just had to spend a few minutes looking round in the system to see what was where, and what did what, but all in all, it's pretty straight forward, really.
I love the files manager. Quite easy to use. I just slipped in my media card into the card slot (Micro SD), and used the files manager to access it, no problem at all. I was able to then copy my entire accompaniment folder, along with all sub-folders straight into the device's internal storage. Took a few minutes, as I had over 2 Gigs of stored files to transfer.
I have noticed that with the screen set to max brightness, and while running a game, or while watching a TV show online, the device only runs for one hour. The battery does only take about 10 to 15 minutes to charge. I'd imagine that the device would run the advertised 2 hours if the screen were set to medium brightness, and earphones were used, and the system was not using wifi to stream a movie. Will test that later, and update.
The screen is a little on the "not so great" side, as it's viewing angle is very narrow, but not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be for the price. The multi-touch screen is pretty cool.
I do like that the device uses plastic on both the back, and around the edges. This makes the device lighter, and feels more secure in my hands. I don't feel like it's going to slip out of my hands like the Kindle Fire, and I-pads do. In fact, it feels about like the older Kindle e-readers that use the e-ink displays do. Very light, yet secure in your grasp.
I also like that this device uses USB (micro), instead of some funky proprietary connector like the other devices. Makes life so much easier.
I'm definitely going to order a second one of these as a backup. The bulky laptops, and other devices can just sit in the closet while I perform with this device.
Also like the hardwired keyboard which you simply connect with it's built in USB cable. No blu-tooth to worry about. The keyboard case seems quite well constructed, and easy to slip the tablet into. The keyboard case has a spring-loaded clip that holds the tablet securely in place. The magnetic kick stand flips out easily to support the tablet at a nice angle. The keyboard should make for much easier gaming like in Minecraft (I hope I can download it).
So, the next big question will be: How long will it hold up under the riggers of road gig travelling, and game-play? :) I'll update as needed.

A Steal Of A Deal- For The Price

This tablet is amazing and well worth the money. Its very smooth and sleek, both looking and operating! I play Angry Birds as well as more advanced games and it keeps up smoothly, no glitching whatsoever. It picks up wifi and my 3G hotspot quickly, no pausing. Videos stream according to your internet speed, but it definitely keeps up with no problem. My ONLY complaint is the battery life. It is horrible so make sure you always have a charger on hand. They keyboard included is what you paid for, just okay. I actually went out and bought a nicer one, because the tablet itself was worth spending money on equally nice accessories. The included keyboard stuck on certain keys and the keys needed a lot of pressure to type. Tablets GREAT, keyboard not so much. And also, you'll need to either purchase a soft cloth or something because the included keyboard presses right up to the screen and invites scratches and cracks. I bought a soft cloth initially to place between the keyboard and screen, then ended up buying a nicer keyboard case at Target that had a leather cover go over the keyboard to protect the screen when closed and while carrying it around. I do recommend this purchase one way or another!

It was everything i needed

I was a little worried how well the Tagital would work because they were selling them for so cheap. But once i got it I loved it. It can go online and I have all my favorite apps downloaded on it, and that was all i needed it to be able to do. Besides being a little slow, and having a 3 hour battery life it was a great buy!
